01When and where is VETERUN 2026?
VETERUN takes place on Sunday, 4 October 2026 at SPPU Gymnasium, Pune University. The 21 km run reports at 5:00 AM and flags off at 5:30 AM. The 10 km, 5 km and 3 km runs report at 5:30 AM and flag off at 6:00 AM, 6:10 AM and 6:20 AM respectively. All times are in IST. See Updates for the race-day poster.
02Which race formats are available?
The race-day programme includes the timed 21 km half marathon, the timed 10 km race, the untimed 5 km fun run and a 3 km run.
03How do the veteran prize categories work?
For timed events, there are nine five-year categories from 35–39 through 75+. Prizes are awarded to the top two men and top two women in every category, subject to the final race rules.
04Can runners below 35 participate?
Yes. VETERUN welcomes adult runners below 35. Overall men’s and women’s winners below 35 receive trophies.
05Is the 5 km run timed?
No. The 5 km is a fun run designed as an inclusive, enjoyable community experience.
06Where can I register?
Use any “Register now” button on this website. Registration is securely handled on the Alpha Racing Solution event portal.
07When and where can I collect my bib?
Collect your bib at the VETERUN Expo on 3 October 2026, from 10 AM to 5 PM, at Lyfefit Arena, Nataraj Housing Society Ground, Pratidnya Mangal Karyalay Lane, Karvenagar, Pune. There will be no bib distribution on race day. See Updates for the expo poster.
